Greek Atomic Energy CommissionThe Greek Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC) is the national competent authority, responsible for nuclear safety and radiation protection issues. It is an independent public service whose primary mission is the protection of the public, workers and the environment from ionising and artificially produced non-ionising radiation. It is supervised by the General Secretariat for Research and Technology under the Ministry of Development.
